Grilled Turkey Tenders

Liven up your turkey sandwich. Smoked turkey is commonly used in sandwiches. Instead of firing up the smoker and spending the better part of the day smoking, try grilling turkey tenders. It is relatively quick and has far more flavor than the commercially smoked and sliced sandwich turkey in the market. Turkey tenders (the same muscle as a chicken tender) are commonly available and usually come as a pair, vacuum sealed, and labeled turkey tenderloins.

Fresh ground black pepper

I highly recommend using my Creole Seasoned Salt instead of just salt and pepper. It will add additional zest to your sandwich.

Lightly brush the turkey with oil and season with Creole Seasoned Salt, and fresh ground black pepper.

Prepare the grill for hot indirect cooking. Grill the breasts directly over the fire for 4 minutes per side, then move to indirect for an additional 10 to 15 minutes or until done (juices run clear or 165°), lid closed.
