This is not a BBQ recipe, but I felt that I needed to post it. My son had us over for fried softshell crab tacos. Never having had one before I thought it noteworthy. The crabs were cut in half and breaded.

They were then deep fat fried until crispy.

The tortillas were butter tortillas from an HEB grocery in Houston, TX (from where my son and daughter-in-law recently moved). Butter tortillas are flour tortillas made with butter and are so good they can be eaten as is. The tortillas were lightly fried and then spread with a spicy rémoulade sauce, topped with a crab, diced onion, and mango salsa.

They were to die for as was the potato salad my wife produced.
